Squash Doubles Shield to Competition winners Martin
Mumby and Rex Churchill (right of picture) following
a close run final overcoming Pete Godfrey and Bernard
Halfpenny 14-17, 15-10, 10-15, 15-9, 15-6.
Lyn Gunner of St. Michael's Hospice was there to receive
a cheque for £530 raised by club members and guests
during the competition and the previously held Terry
McLoughlin Memorial Competition
Philomena
Kearne also raised £205 for St. Michael's Hospice
following her entry in the London Marathon.
After
the match and presentation, members and guests at Herefordshire's
premier tennis and squash club enjoyed an evening's
entertainment including a disco and a BBQ.
